1. Who we are

This site belongs to the company identified in the Legal notice, which sets out the registered name, tax number, registered office and contact details.

2. What this site is, and what it is not

It is an informational site. It presents the services we provide, shows work we have done and lets you request a quote.

It is not a shop. Nothing is bought here, nothing is paid for here, and no supply or works contract is entered into through this site.

3. Quote requests

• Requesting a quote is free and commits you to nothing.
• We undertake to contact you within 24 working hours. That is a deadline for replying, not for carrying out the works.
• The site visit, where one is needed to measure and see what is there, is also free.
• We may decline to quote for a request, in particular where it falls outside the area we work in or the services we provide.

4. Prices

The figures shown on this site are minimums, given as an indication so you have a sense of scale before meeting us. They are not contractual offers and do not bind us.

What a job costs depends on the measurements, the materials and the state of what is already there. The figure that counts is the one in the written quote, which states what is included, what is not, and the applicable VAT rate.

5. Photographs and projects

The images on this site show our own work, except those marked as reference images, which are there only to show the kind of work we do and do not depict projects of ours.

Materials, finishes and dimensions vary from job to job, and no image amounts to a promise of an identical result.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you contract with us away from our premises, for instance at your home during the visit, or at a distance, you generally have fourteen days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014.

One exception usually applies to our work. Goods made to measure, to your specifications or clearly personalised, are excluded from that right under Article 17(1)(c) of the same Decree-Law. A kitchen designed and built for your home is an example.

The quote we give you states, in each case, whether the right applies and how to exercise it.

7. Warranties

The goods we supply carry the legal guarantee of conformity under Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021. Works carried out on site are subject to the notification and warranty periods set out in Portuguese civil law. The specific terms for each job appear in the quote and on the invoice.

8. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, drawings, logos and visual identity on this site are ours or are used with the permission of their owners. They may not be copied, reproduced, altered or reused without written permission, save as the law allows, such as quotation with attribution.

9. Using the site

You are free to use the site to inform yourself and to contact us. You may not use it to harm the site or its visitors, in particular by attempting to reach restricted areas, submitting false or bulk requests, extracting content by automated means or introducing malicious code.

10. Availability and liability

We do what we can to keep the information correct and the site available, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or that it will never fail, and we may take it down for maintenance.

We are not liable for loss arising from the site being unavailable, from internet connection failures, or from the content of third-party sites this one links to. Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, or any right the law gives you as a consumer.

11. Links to other sites

This site may link to third-party sites, such as the electronic Complaints Book. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.

12. Personal data and cookies

How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy policy. What this site stores on your device is in the Cookie policy.

13. Complaints and dispute resolution

You may file a complaint in the electronic Complaints Book.

For consumer disputes, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. On a residual basis, the competent one is the CNIACC, the Portuguese national consumer arbitration body. The current list of bodies is published on the Portuguese Consumer Portal.

14. Governing law and competent court

Portuguese law applies.

Where the client is a consumer, the competent court is the one for their place of residence, as provided by law. We do not ask you to waive that right.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version in force is always the one published on this page. The version in force on the day you made your request is the one that applies to it.
